About the Author
Frank Shadpour, P.E.,
is a registered Mechanical Engineer and a Certified Construction Specifier.
He is a mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Southern
California and has his Masters degree from the University of Redlands.
Mr. Shadpour has been the instructor of Design and Control HVAC courses
at UCSD Extension
since 1987 and is the past president of the American Society of Heating,
Refrigerating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE),
San Diego Chapter. Currently he is chair of the ASHRAE
Technical Committee TC1.4, Control Theory and Application. Mr. Shadpour
is a consulting engineer and serves as the President of SC
Engineers, Inc.
